Hacienda del Comendador, also known as Hacienda El Comendador, is a gated community in San Miguel Dueñas, about fifteen to twenty minutes southwest of La Antigua Guatemala. It is one of the established communities in the valley’s coffee and flower country, with controlled access and 24/7 security, a clubhouse, a community pool, tennis courts, parks and wide landscaped green areas, all with open views of Agua, Fuego and Acatenango.
Lots start around 200 m², and some homes sit on double parcels, which gives them more garden than you will find closer to town. Houses are mostly colonial in style, one or two levels, with three to five bedrooms. Lots still come up for buyers who want to design their own home.
