Jardines de Antigua is a neighbourhood rather than a town, on the western edge of Antigua off the road to Ciudad Vieja. The name fits: it is park like and almost entirely residential, only homes, most of them on generous lots, along quiet tree lined streets. That garden setting, minutes from the centre, is the whole appeal, and it is one of the nicest settings close to Antigua.
Plaza Telares, the new mall with a full grocery store, banks, restaurants and a gym, is right nearby, so daily errands don’t need a trip into town. We regularly have offerings in Jardines, and when they come up they are worth a look.
