Cerro de la Cruz is not a town but an area on the north side of Antigua, below the famous viewpoint, where we have houses and properties for sale from time to time. What makes it popular is simple: the views are fantastic, with the whole colonial grid laid out in front of Volcán de Agua, and the feel is country living, literally minutes from the centre. Access is steeper than in the flat town and the lanes are a mix of cobblestone and unpaved, which is part of the trade for the setting.
