Los Franciscanos, also known as Club Residencial Los Franciscanos, is a gated residential club in Ciudad Vieja, set along Highway 14 southwest of La Antigua Guatemala, about fifteen minutes from Parque Central. It offers one of the most complete amenity packages in the valley: a clubhouse with gym and restaurant, several pools, a kids’ club and games room, tennis, paddle and pickleball courts, a football field, a dog park and 24 hour security. Utilities run underground, the community has fibre internet, and water is reused to irrigate the green areas.
Homes are colonial in style, mostly two levels with three or four bedrooms, and some models include a private pool. There are also newer apartments inside the community. The developer keeps a furnished model home open, so buyers can walk the finished house before their own is built on the lot they choose.
